Applying for Inheritance (Hasr-e-Warasat)
If you are an Afghan citizen residing in Türkiye and need to obtain an Inheritance Certificate (Hasr-e-Warasat) for legal, administrative, or family matters, you can apply through the Consular Section of the Embassy of Afghanistan in Ankara.

Presence
The following persons and documents MUST be present at the Embassy during your appointment.
Required Documents
Applicants must carefully complete the application form in Dari or Pashto.
Special attention must be given to the accuracy of names, dates, figures, and places.
The following persons and documents MUST be present at the Embassy during your appointment:
Inheritor(s) (Waris/Warasa)
All inheritors must be present at the Embassy with:
One copy of their Tazkira or passport
Two recent photos (size: 3×4 cm)
Testifiers (Iqrar Konendagan)
Three adult testifiers must accompany the inheritor(s) at the Embassy with:
One copy of their Tazkira or Afghan passport
One copy of their residence permit (ikamet) in Türkiye
Two recent photos (size: 3×4 cm) of each testifier
Witnesses
Two adult witnesses must also accompany the inheritor(s) with:
Copies of Tazkira or Afghan passport
Copies of residence permit (ikamet) in Türkiye
Two recent photos (size: 3×4 cm) of each witness
Procedure
Upon arrival at the Embassy of Afghanistan in Ankara, the applicant and accompanying individuals will present their documents at the consular front desk.
The Consular staff will review and verify all submitted documents and proofs of identity.
If all requirements are met and all parties are present, the preparation of the Inheritance Certificate (Hasr-e-Warasat) will begin immediately.
After verification and signing by all parties, the document will be officially issued to the applicant.
Fees
The service fee for a Power of Attorney is 200 USD
